Stringz by 2 is a violin duo that plays not only the traditional bridal selections for a wedding, but also music in a wide variety of styles from Bach to Billy Joel and Led Zepplin to Tangos.
Molly Rahe and Elizabeth Jacobs are the professional violinists in Stringz by 2. Combined, they have more than three decades of performing experience. Their focus is on wedding ceremonies, cocktails hours, and small dinner receptions. The two also have been part of various string ensembles and symphony and pit orchestras throughout their careers. Both have been devoted string musicians -- playing the violin and viola --since they were children.
At a wedding celebration, Stringz by 2 can create the atmosphere you want by arranging music in styles from classical to Celtic, from opera to country or rock, or any combination of those. A song list is available to help prospective couples select the music that will complement their wedding.
