As a wedding musician, Molly plays and sings all styles of music including classical, country, Celtic, and rock. She is available for wedding ceremonies and receptions, and other occasions. For outdoor weddings and large facilities, Molly uses a battery-powered amplifier.
Molly brings to a wedding the elegance and style that the bride and groom want to have expressed on that special day.
In, 2004, Molly graduated cum laude (with honors), receiving a bachelor’s degree in music education from Mansfield University. She specialized in voice and violin.
Molly began playing violin at age nine. She’s played violin with the Hanover Symphony Orchestra, York Junior Symphony, and the Hanover High School String Quartet.
At Mansfield, Molly participated in the Mansfield Symphony Orchestra, and Mansfield String Trio. She presented her junior recital in voice, and her senior recital in both voice and violin.
She studied violin and viola under the direction of Dr. Kenneth Sarch, director of orchestral studies at Mansfield University, and violin with Adrian Bryttan, an internationally known violin soloist. As a high school senior, Molly participated in the District 7 Chorus.
At Mansfield, Dr. Youngsuck Kim directed Molly’s vocal studies. She sang with the Concert Choir, Opera Workshop, and the Mansfieldians, a 12-voice vocal jazz/madrigal ensemble.
Before she enrolled at Mansfield, Molly studied for two seasons at Westminster Choir College Summer Vocal Institute. Her instruction there was with Julia Kemp and Anne Ackley Gray.
In addition to performing at weddings and other events, Molly also teaches voice, violin, and viola lessons in Harrisburg, Mifflintown, Hanover and Campbelltown.
In 2008, Molly was offered an exclusive publishing deal with RockDiva & SugarDaddy Publishing (ASCAP). Acoustic Crossover's compositions by Molly and co-writer/guitarist Maria Wilson will be promoted internationally for placement in film and television projects.
